Hot Racing Action
Lamborghini, Audi, Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes-AMG racecars will be in action at Killarney over a series of races that start on Friday afternoon. There will also be a gaggle of Backdraft Roadsters (read: Cobras) fighting for honours. The very last race of the year is the Killarney Nine Hour. This event will end in darkness on Saturday night, added an interesting dimension for drivers and spectators alike.

Several local and international motorsport stars will be competing in the feature race. These include former 24 Hours of Le Mans winner, Emanuele Pirro as well as former Formula One driver Jan Lammers and SA racing hero Sarel van der Merwe. There’s even a current Alfa Romeo F1 engineer taking to the track.

Aside from racing action the endurance racing season finale will also feature several well-known musics artists who will be performing at the event. The line-up includes Zonke, Watershed, GoodLuck, Mdu Masilela, Shekhinah, Oskido and Dean Fuel.
There’ll be plenty of options to keep yourself fueled through the endurance event. As usual, the track’s own eating establishments will be open, providing a respite for weary feet and sun-beaten heads.
