Balluru Ravikumar, the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene state secretary, has donated his ancestors’ land to Muslims in Balluru village to construct a mosque. The site, measuring 40 ft x 40 ft was donated and registered in the name of Jamia Masid recently past. There was no suitable location for the Muslims to hold religious events or regular prayers in the village, which is in the Mayakonda legislative constituency in Davanagere taluk.
