Motorway appoints brand marketing director

Motorway has hired former NOW TV’s Rachael Halliday to the newly-created role of brand marketing director.

Halliday joins the used car marketplace from Sky where she has worked since 2011. During her time at Sky, Rachael has led the marketing for a range of Sky products including Sky Go, Sky Cinema and most recently Now TV, where she has been the director of brand and marketing for the last three years. She has previously worked for big brands such as Red Bull, Royal Caribbean International and General Motors.

Central to Halliday’s role will be owning and evolving the company’s brand platform and developing go-to-market strategies and brand campaigns as Motorway scales and expands its proposition.

Lloyd Page, CMO, Motorway said: “We are delighted to welcome Rachael to the Motorway team. She brings with her a wealth of experience in brand building and devising successful go-to-market strategies which will be invaluable as we continue our mission to build a better car market for everyone. We can’t wait for her to get started.”

Halliday added: “I’m thrilled to be joining such a pioneering business which combines best-in-class technology and innovation with real customer focus. Motorway has had an incredible year and I’m looking forward to joining the team to accelerate that growth in 2023 and beyond.
