Since 1888 the Abigail Manor has sat at 377 4th Street in Manistee boasting its Victorian beauty.

After going through a total renovation in 2020 the historic four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is up for sale with a price tag of $675,000, and not only does it hold onto its historical significance, but themes in practically every room make the property an eccentric experience.

There are plenty of new fixtures including a furnace, air conditioner, hot water heater, all new and updated electrical, plumbing and landscaping. Furnishings include era-specific items such as chairs, couches, art and antiques — the kitchen alone has a plethora of decor and aesthetic appeal.

New Abigail Manor has two guest suites that have potential to be more than what they appear as well as the two other bedrooms which would give way to making the home a quaint bed and breakfast. There’s a room dedicated to the late, great Marilyn Monroe which also doubles as an office with the second-floor washer and dryer — although a future owner could easily move those appliances to the basement.

Anyone who lives, stays and enjoys the manor is within walking distance of downtown Manistee restaurants, shopping, the Manistee River Walk and just be bocks from the Lake Michigan beaches and the Manistee Lighthouse.
