Corporations are increasingly adopting new technologies for use in everyday business activities, whether that’s hiring, computer programming or manufacturing own consumer goods. But in many cases, using those technologies carries ethics risks—a growing concern for corporate legal departments.
According to a report released earlier this year by FTI Consulting and Relativity, general counsel involvement in technology adoption has been increasing over the past few years. At the same time, confidence in preparedness for new technology has slipped over that same period.
